ViewSonic VA951S 19" LED display with 5:4 aspect ratio that is perfect for legacy or customized applications in corporate, government, educational and other vertical markets. Featuring crystal-clear 1280 x 1024 resolution, SuperClear® technology and 20M:1 DCR, the display presents sharp, true and consistent color performance at 178°/178°-wide viewing angles. Uniform and matte bezel provide easy configuration for multi display setup. DVI and D-Sub inputs offer easy connectivity to desktops or laptops, and ViewSonis’s exclusive ViewMode delivers optimized color rendering for different viewing scenarios. Flicker-Free and Blue Light Filter minimize eye fatigue and deliver comfortable viewing experience for all applications. Energy Star and EPEAT certified, the VA951S’s embedded ECO mode also cuts power consumption by up to 50%, and comes with a VESA-compliant mount for more flexible installation in your organization.

SuperClear® Image Enhancement Technology delivers the best colour performance and extends display viewing angles to 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically. Experience accurate and vivid colours with consistent levels of brightness whether looking at the screen from above, below, the front, or the side—with no colour distortion or decay.

Blue Light Filter for More Comfortable Viewing

Prolonged exposure to certain levels of blue light can cause eye discomfort. ViewSonic displays feature a Blue Light Filter setting that allows users to adjust the amount of blue light emitted from the screen, enabling longer viewing times and increased eye comfort for work and multimedia applications.

ViewMode Settings for Digital Content

Rendering for everything you view on this display. With 5 different scenario presets, ViewSonic displays offer best-in-class calibration techniques to bring you the best digital viewing experience. This includes Game, Movie, Web, Text, and Mono presets to enhance black levels in games and movies, colour luster for online images, and colour temperature for reading text.

20M:1 MEGA Dynamic Contrast Ratio

Dynamic contrast ratio detects the brightness of an image, and automatically adjusts the backlight to maximize the monitor’s colour range and contrast. Dynamic contrast ratio technology enables the accurate reproduction of images, producing vibrant and rich visual effects.

ViewSonic Flicker-Free Viewing for Improved Eye Comfort

ViewSonic flicker-free displays deliver on the promise of more comfortable viewing. Rather than using Pulse Width Modulation that continuously turns the LED backlight on and off, ViewSonic flicker-free displays use DC modulation backlights that maintain a steady stream of direct current power—nearly eliminating screen flickering at all brightness levels by providing a constant LED light source. This lets you work at your computer, play games, or watch movies longer – without eye fatigue.

Planet-Friendly Mercury-Free LED Backlighting

LED backlighting enhances display performance, delivers an outstanding colour range, and adjusts contrast ratios for remarkably detailed images. ViewSonic's eco-friendly, mercury-free LED backlighting further conserves up to 25%* more energy when compared to conventional displays. In addition, LED backlighting provides for a slim, lightweight profile that saves desktop space.

Eco-mode Conserves More Energy

ViewSonic’s proprietary Eco-mode feature is built into all LED displays, offering options to select "Optimize(75%)"or "Conserve (50%)" settings that save up to 25% power. Especially in low ambient light, Eco-mode adjusts brightness and improves visibility, while reducing eye fatigue and prolonging the display's lamp life. With Eco-mode, both lamp replacement and energy expenditures are reduced.
