ViewSonic Introduces Teacher Sam Beasley as the UK EdTech Specialist

ViewSonic Europe has welcomed teacher Sam Beasley, to the ViewSonic team. Sam has been appointed as ViewSonic UK’s EdTech Specialist, focusing on delivering top-class myViewBoard demonstrations.

Having worked in Education for over 10 years, Sam been a teacher in institutions whereby technology was at the forefront of the curriculum. With interactive screens, iPads and other technology embedded in the delivery of lessons and learning, Sam has witnessed the positive impact the technology had on the development of the children.

"The school I have just left is at the start of their Edtech journey and, as it happens, recently had ViewSonic's ViewBoard's installed. The children were buzzing to see the screens in the classrooms and couldn't wait to use them straight away," says Sam.

With first-hand experience using technology in the classroom, Sam has seen the impact of tech on teaching and learning. As well as improving student engagement, technology also has the capabilities to facilitate collaboration and has a positive effect on progress and attainment. It is also important that children leave school with a certain level of technological literacy since they require the knowledge and skills to live in a growing digital society.

“ViewSonic's myViewBoard software is an incredible and powerful tool for teaching and learning. It helps children to retain knowledge, supports children with SEND, helps teachers assess throughout lessons and boosts collaboration in the classroom.”

"Sam joins us with over ten years of experience teaching in primary schools; having a teacher as part of our team will allow our relationship with teachers to blossom whilst strengthening our passion for education across the UK. Welcome, Sam, and thank you," says James Jepson, Sales Director (B2B and AV), ViewSonic UK.
