BREA, CA (February 11, 2021) – ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of display solutions today announced its expansion in community outreach with $500,000 in donations to local schools and education and children’s charities.
2020 had many unforeseen changes with a profound affect within communities across the country. ViewSonic continues to lead by example, making sizable charitable contributions year after year under the Empowering Future Generations initiative, designed to identify and support schools and organizations in need of technology resources for programs such as STEM and STEAM labs, SCALE-UP classrooms, robotics workshops and esports clubs. As such, ViewSonic donated a number of products, services, and funds in 2020 that will tremendously help educational institutions, educators, and students alike.
Donations included:
• Over 1,000 SC-T25 Raspberry Pi thin Client devices to schools, Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs, the Johnson STEM center of Atlanta and the Eagle Academy Foundation
• ViewBoard® interactive displays to Los Amigos High School and Santiago High School
• Granted 2 terminally ill children their wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation
• Donated funds to Savoy Foundation’s virtual Notte Di Savoia” Gala that raised $100,000, which was donated to ViewSonic’s longstanding charity - Caterina’s Club
