By purchasing a ViewSonic Extended Warranty option you choose the service you want to continue your mobility.

The Extended Warranty Service (the "Program") is offered pursuant to the terms of this agreement. The Program extends the term of ViewSonic's standard warranty for an additional period of time depending upon the choice indicated below. For ViewSonic's standard warranty terms, please consult the Users' Guide that was enclosed with your product at the time of purchase.
Enrollment is accomplished by receipt of registration and payment of the applicable fee plus tax, if any. Once enrolled, the Program is valid for the stated term and is not transferable. The enrollment fee, including any tax, is NOT refundable. Customers may register at any time during the first 90 days of product purchase. Enrollment pricing is subject to change without notice.
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION CONTAINED HEREIN. THIS PROGRAM IN NO WAY EXPANDS OR ENHANCES THE APPLICABLE LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY, EXCEPT TO PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL PERIOD OF TIME DURING WHICH THE LIMITED WARRANTY WILL BE APPLICABLE.
NOT COVERED BY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY:
Loss of or damage to the covered product due to abuse, mishandling, improper packaging by you, alteration, accident, electrical current fluctuations or failure to follow operating, maintenance or environmental instructions prescribed in the covered product's User Manual. The battery is not covered under the extended warranty.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
VIEWSONIC WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO, OR DATA LOSS OF, ANY PROGRAMS, DATA OR REMOVABLE STORAGE MEDIA THAT MAY OCCUR DURING REPAIR OR DUE TO REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT.
Extended Warranty Service is valid for the product serial number registered at the time of enrollment. Specifications and pricing subject to change without notice. Selection, offers and programs may vary by country; see your ViewSonic representative for complete details.
Tablet PC Extended Warranty Guidelines
- Extended Warranty must be purchased within ninety (90) days from the date of product purchase. This program is available to the first consumer purchaser of new product only.
- Extended Warranty purchases must be purchased and registered with ViewSonic Customer Support for each product serial number. ViewSonic Customer Support will issue a confirmation of the extended warranty for each registered serial number. Any serial number not being registered will have a standard warranty as stated in the Users' Guide.
- Batteries, cradle, docking stations and other optional accessories are not covered in the extended warranty program.
- The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the product to ViewSonic
- Calls must be received by 12:00 PM Pacific Time to guarantee expedited service if an Extended Warranty with Expedited Repair option is purchased.
- Expedited Repair includes expedited repair and expedited shipping to return the customer's unit. Customer's original unit will be repaired and shipped out within 48 hours from the time we receive the unit. Turn-around-time is 48 hours, excluding transportation time and time required for customs clearance. ViewSonic will return the repaired unit to customer via standard overnight.
- Saturdays, Sundays and major U.S. and Canada Holidays are excluded from expedited service.
- Image burn-in is not considered a manufacturer defect.
- Warranty program is valid for the product serial number registered at the time of enrollment OR the product serial number for the replacement unit.
- Program details and pricing subject to change without notice.
- Programs may differ by country. Prices may vary due to currency conversion.
- Physical damage and user abuse are not covered under this program and not considered a manufacturer defect.
- Only authorized ViewSonic technicians may perform service and support to ViewSonic products. All services performed by unauthorized technicians will void your ViewSonic warranty.
- Additional information may be requested at the time of service request.

- Complete the Extended Warranty Purchase Form, select the Extended Warranty Option and include payment information. Signature is required on all completed forms. Forms received without signature will not be processed.

Tablet PC Accidental Insurance Policy Details
The Accidental Damage Insurance (the "Program") is offered pursuant to the terms of this
agreement. The Program provides protection against accidental damage to the ViewSonic mobile device or other ViewSonic-branded hardware identified in your invoice and augments the limited warranty applicable to your ViewSonic product under the Standard Terms of Sale and Limited Warranty Agreement. For ViewSonic's standard warranty terms, please consult the Users' Guide that was enclosed with your product at the time of purchase.

What's covered?
- ViewSonic will repair or replace eligible parts in your Vie wSonic product that are
accidentally damaged during the term of this Plan. Eligible parts covered under this Plan
consist of components originally included in your ViewSonic product. Replacement parts
will be new or serviceably used, comparable in function and performance to the original
part.
- Accidental damage consists of damages caused by impacts, dropping, falls, spilled
liquids, immersion in liquids, power surges (when protected by an operational surge
suppressor), and other such accidental causes, or a natural disaster such as flood, wind,
earthquake or lightning (excluding fire).
- ViewSonic will arrange to ship replacement parts or products to and from you in the
United States, and will pay the shipping costs. ViewSonic will not reimburse you for
shipping costs you incur.
What's not covered?
- Damage resulting from the use of your ViewSonic product in a manner for which it was
not intended.
- Defects in materials and workmanship covered under the Limited Warranty for your
ViewSonic product.
- Normal wear or cosmetic damage and/or other damage that does not affect functionality.
- Damages that occurred to your ViewSonic product before you purchased this Plan (a
preexisting condition).
- Damage to or loss of software, data, removable media, consumables, portable docking
stations (other than integrated docking bases which are covered under the Plan), carrying
cases, or non-ViewSonic-branded products such as joysticks, printers, scanners, speaker
systems.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
VIEWSONIC WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO OR DATA LOSS OFANY PROGRAMS, DATA OR REMOVABLE STORAGE MEDIA THAT MAY OCCUR DURING REPAIR OR DUE TO REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT.
- If ViewSonic is unable to repair or replace parts for your ViewSonic product for any
reason, ViewSonic may, at its option AND ONLY ONCE DURING THE PROTECTION PERIOD, replace your ViewSonic product with a new or serviceably used ViewSonic product, comparable in function and performance to your ViewSonic product. In any event, ViewSonic's maximum liability to you under this Plan will not
exceed the original purchase price of your ViewSonic product.
Accidental Damage Insurance is valid for the product serial number registered at the time of

Tablet PC Accidental Insurance Policy Guidelines
- ADI must be purchased within 90 days from the date of product purchase. This
program is available to the first consumer purchase of new product purchases
only.
- All ADI purchases must be purchased and registered with ViewSonic Customer
Support for each serial number of the product. ViewSonic Customer Support will
issue a confirmation of the ADI for each registered serial number. The ADI
Certificate will be mailed to end-user. Any serial number not being registered
will have a standard one year warranty.
- ADI program is valid for the product serial number registered at the time of
enrollment.
- Only authorized ViewSonic technicians may perform service and support to
ViewSonic products. All service performed by unauthorized persons will void
your ViewSonic warranty.
- The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the product to ViewSonic.
- Additional information may be requested at the time of service request.
- ViewSonic is not responsible for the sale of ADI packages that are not officially
filed and registered with ViewSonic.
- Batteries, Cradle, docking stations and other optional accessories are not covered
in these extended warranty programs or the ADI insurance.
